Vida house is an existing 5 storey residential building (138 apartments) with a basement car park.
Alt Fire provided fire safety engineering services for the replacement of the existing façade, rectification of original construction defects in relation to cavity barriers and fire stopping. Additionally, some internal works were undertaken to provide a new office area, tea point and accessible WC.
We reviewed and commented on the existing fire safety strategy and external wall construction drawings, with findings and any recommendations reported to the client. Additional support was provided to the project with changes to the design and ad-hoc advice provided into the construction stage.
For the internal layout changes the design was reviewed and a fire safety strategy was provided.
